Helinn is a slow-living lifestyle brand rooted in natural materials, craftsmanship, and intention. We create and curate 100% linen garments and handcrafted Golden Grass accessories, designed to feel effortless, breathable, and timeless.

Our linen garments are made in Europe, primarily Italy and Lithuania, using high-quality natural flax linen.
Our Golden Grass accessories are handcrafted in Brazil using Capim Dourado (Syngonanthus nitens).

Yes. Sustainability is at the heart of Helinn. We prioritize natural fibers, small-batch production, handmade processes, and timeless designs meant to last beyond seasons.

Golden Grass (Capim Dourado, scientific name Syngonanthus nitens) is a naturally golden fiber — no dyes, no chemicals.
It does not tarnish like metal and maintains its soft golden glow with proper care.

  • Machine wash cold on gentle cycle
  • Use mild detergent
  • Hang or lay flat to dry
  • Steam or iron on low heat

Natural wrinkles are part of linen’s beauty.

Golden Grass is a natural plant fiber with a unique luminous golden tone that does not require dyes or chemical treatments. Each piece is handwoven by artisans using traditional techniques, making it lightweight, durable, and naturally elegant.

To preserve the beauty of your piece:

• Avoid prolonged contact with water. Remove before showering, swimming, or exercising.
• Avoid direct contact with perfume, oils, lotions, sunscreen, and cleaning products.
• Store in a dry place, ideally inside a pouch or jewelry box to protect the weaving.
• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or skin oils.
• Avoid bending or crushing the fibers to maintain the structure of the weave.
• Keep away from excessive humidity or long exposure to direct sunlight.

Golden Grass is naturally resilient, but like all natural fibers, it benefits from gentle care. With proper handling, your piece will maintain its natural shine and structure for many years.

Materials & Hardware (Golden Grass Jewelry)

The metal hardware used in our Golden Grass jewelry is plated with Green Gold, a more durable and refined metal finish selected for everyday wear.

Yes. Green Gold–plated hardware is considered hypoallergenic and is chosen to minimize the risk of skin irritation, making it suitable for sensitive skin.

With proper care, the Green Gold plating is designed to be resistant and long-lasting. As with all plated jewelry, we recommend avoiding water, perfumes, and excessive humidity to preserve its finish.

No. The jewelry is not solid gold. The hardware features a Green Gold plating, used for its durability, hypoallergenic qualities, and refined appearance.

Linen Care & Shrinkage

Linen is a natural fiber made from flax. Like all natural fibers, it can shrink slightly when exposed to heat and water.

However, Helinn garments are produced using a garment-wash process after construction. This means each piece is sewn first and then washed and softened before being pressed and packed. This controlled process significantly reduces post-purchase shrinkage and stabilizes the fabric.

When properly cared for (cold wash, low heat or air dry), shrinkage is minimal. Because Helinn pieces are garment-washed during production, most shrinkage occurs before the garment reaches you.

Garment washing allows:

• More accurate size consistency
• Better drape and softness
• Reduced risk of unexpected shrinkage
• A refined, lived-in feel

This process takes longer, but it results in a higher-quality finish.

Linen fibers relax naturally with wear. Light steaming or ironing can help restore the garment’s original shape.
